Lori O. Strauss
Areas of Practice
Lori has extensive defense counsel trial experience in the areas of medical malpractice and workers' compensation claims, but she currently confines her practice solely to workers' compensation law. Lori has successfully litigated many high-exposure cases, and she has represented a large number of hospitals and hotels.
Lori is a frequent lecturer on various aspects of workers' compensation law. She has organized and participated in numerous regional and workers' compensation seminars, including serving as co-chair of the Workers' Compensation Seminar sponsored by the Institute of Business Law. Lori has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer since 2005 in the area of workers' compensation. She was also named one of the Top 50 Women Attorneys in Pennsylvania by Philadelphia magazine.
Lori is a 1980 graduate of Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Following graduation, she attended Rutgers University School of Law, Camden, where she received her juris doctor in 1983. She served as clinic law clerk to the Honorable Daniel H. Huyett, III, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Following graduation from law school, Lori served as law clerk to the Honorable Jacob Kalish in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas.
Lori is a long-time supporter of the Golden Slipper Club & Charities and Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.
