Lauren R. Casparie

Lauren Casparie is an associate in the firm's Casualty Department where she represents clients in the fields of construction injury litigation, general liability, premises liability, automobile litigation, and property litigation. Her clients include construction companies, maintenance companies, property owners, automobile owners, and retail stores, among other clients.

Lauren handles a significant amount of premises liability cases. These cases involve everything from slip and falls to design and construction defects to assaults and inadequate security claims. She works alongside investigators and experts to provide the best defense for her client.

Lauren also has experience representing clients in labor law cases, including those involving Labor Law 200, 240, and 241 claims. Many of the plaintiffs in her cases allege serious debilitating injuries that prevent them from working again and seek multi-million dollar settlements. In addition to defending these claims, Lauren has also successfully brought third-party actions against subcontractors to defend and indemnify her clients.

Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Lauren worked at a New York firm where she represented nationally known insurance companies, common carriers and multinational corporations. Lauren is a graduate of St. John's University School of Law where she was a articles editor of the American Bankrupt Institute and an active member of the Woman's Law Society. She received a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany.
