Joseph L. Vender

Senior Counsel

Joseph focuses his practice exclusively on Pennsylvania workers' compensation law. His clients rely on his 40 years of experience representing employers and insurance carriers in workers' compensation matters. Joseph’s reputation as a problem solver allows him to approach complex matters by collaborating with both client and carrier representatives to achieve desirable outcomes. He serves clients in the the home improvement and snack food industries, as well representing local counties in workers’ compensation matters.

Joseph has devoted his career to workers’ compensation defense. Following graduation from The University of Pittsburgh School of Law, he served as trial counsel to Lackawanna Casualty Company, concentrating his practice in workers' compensation litigation defense throughout northeastern and central Pennsylvania. He joined Marshall Dennehey in 1993.

Outside of work, Joseph enjoys the great outdoors. He is always looking for new spots to hike and fish in Lackawanna County and beyond.
