Bethany A. Blood


As a member of the Health Care Department, Bethany represents health care professionals and providers in matters relating to health care liability. In addition, she handles cases involving employment matters, motor vehicle liability, premises liability, product liability and workers' compensation. Bethany also has experience in bad faith insurance defense, family law and real estate, as well as plaintiff's personal injury.

A graduate of Grove City College, Bethany earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. She was also a member of Pi Gamma Mu, a social science honorary. After earning her undergraduate degree, Bethany attended the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law where she achieved her juris doctor in 2004. While at Dickinson, she also earned a Certificate in Dispute Resolution and Advocacy. Following graduation from law school, Bethany served as a judicial law clerk for The Honorable John M. Cleland, P.J. and The Honorable John H. Yoder, J. of the Court of Common Pleas of McKean County, Pennsylvania. 

Bethany is active in the Erie County Bar Association and serves on the annual Law Day Run committee. She also is a member of the Northwest Pennsylvania American Inn of Court for which she serves as the New Membership Chairperson for Erie County. Bethany also volunteers her time at The A.N.N.A. Shelter, an animal shelter located in Erie.
