Ashley A. Myers


Ashley Myers is an associate in the Professional Liability Department. She focuses her practice in areas of insurance coverage and bad faith litigation defense arising out of, uninsured motorist, underinsured motorist and property damage claims.

Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Ashley worked as in-house counsel for a Fortune 100 Insurance company defending automobile, premise liability claims and property damage suits. She has handled hundreds of bodily injury litigation matters involving evaluation and resolution of personal injury claims. Ashley has defended her clients at arbitration and trial involving issues of causation, medical necessity of treatment, improper medical provider billing, and PIP issues.

Ashley is a graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law. At Temple, she was a member of the Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society, which was created to acknowledge students that have shown exceptional dedication and commitment to public service. Ashley also received a certificate in Trial Advocacy and Litigation and earned the honor of distinguished class performance in Trial Advocacy II. At Temple, Ashley served on the executive board of the Black Law Students Association and was a member of the International Law Society. She also spent a summer studying International law in Rome, Italy while working towards her JD.

Ashley completed her undergraduate education at Temple University, with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. She has an intermediate knowledge of the French language and spent a summer studying abroad in Paris, France during her undergraduate studies, while learning the language.

Ashley is an active member of the legal community. She is the Vice President of the National Bar Association Women Lawyers Division, Philadelphia Chapter and also a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division Executive Committee.

Significant Representative Matters

Obtained a defense verdict on behalf of a Fortune 100 insurance company after a major jury trial involving a rear end automobile accident in which the plaintiff claimed to have sustained signifcant and permanent injuries.

Obtained numerous defense awards at arbitrations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey on behalf of a Fortune 100 insurance company.
