Attorneys obtained a defense verdict and appellate victory on behalf of a national department store in a case involving alleged assault and invasion of privacy. Plaintiff alleged she was assaulted by a department store employee in the store's parking lot and that the employee used a racial slur. Plaintiff alleged she sustained serious orthopedic injuries and mental distress damages from the alleged altercation. An opinion was issued by the appellate court within two weeks affirming the final judgment in favor of our client and granting an award of appellate attorneys' fees and costs.
