Attorney obtained two summary final judgments in one case, on behalf of a well known architectural firm. The first summary final judgment, based upon the economic loss rule, was obtained against the owner on its claims against the architect for defense and indemnity. The second summary final judgment, based upon the Slavin Doctrine and its progeny, was obtained against the Plaintiff on his claims of negligent design, supervision, and violation of the state's Building Code.
