Attorney obtained dismissal of a claim of defamation on Preliminary Objections. Plaintiff's Complaint alleged libel and slander against an eyewitness/victim. Plaintiff claims to have been mistakenly identified. Plaintiff was reported to and picked up by police. Plaintiff had no evidence of any written or spoken defamation but claimed he was defamed by the eyewitness giving a physical description and reporting a license tag number.
