Tim Ventura Selected as 2015 Board Observer for the Legal Clinic for the Disabled

Timothy G. Ventura, associate in the Philadelphia office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman and Goggin, has been selected to serve as the 2015 Board Observer for the Legal Clinic for the Disabled (LCD) as part of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation's Board Observer program.

The Board Observer program is a partnership between the Philadelphia Bar Foundation and the Philadelphia Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division. Designed to provide young lawyers with the opportunity to develop leadership skills, learn about nonprofit governance and make connections in the nonprofit community, the program pairs attorneys with a Philadelphia nonprofit organization for a one-year time period.

In his placement with the Legal Clinic for the Disabled, Mr. Ventura will attend board meetings, fundraisers and observe other events and activities of the organization.  The LCD provides free, quality legal services to low income people with physical disabilities and to the deaf and hard-of-hearing in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester Delaware and Montgomery Counties.

As a member of Marshall Dennehey's Professional Liability Department, Mr. Ventura focuses his practice on the defense of claims and suits brought against insurance agents and brokers, construction companies, attorneys, financial entities, large product manufacturers, and other professionals. A graduate of Boston College and Temple University Beasley School of Law, he is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations. He additionally provides pro bono legal services to veterans through Marshall Dennehey's partnership with the Widener University School of Law Veterans Law Clinic.
