Stacy Starcher to Speak at NBI Medical Malpractice Seminar

Stacy A. Starcher, shareholder in the Health Care Department at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, will be a featured speaker at the National Business Institute's "Medical Malpractice From Start to Finish" seminar on November 8 at the Holiday Inn Independence in Independence, Ohio. In "Proving Your Case – Standard of Care, Causation and Experts," Ms. Starcher will discuss  understanding the Doctor's Standard of Care, what constitutes a violation of the standard of care, establishing proof of causation and negligence, how to choose the right medical expert, expert selection and use, and how to work efficiently with medical experts.

For 20 years, Ms. Starcher has concentrated exclusively on the defense of health care professionals in a wide array of medical negligence matters. Board-certified in Trial Advocacy and Civil Procedure by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, she has tried dozens of cases to verdict in various counties across Ohio.  She also advises clients in pre-trial investigations and best practices in risk management.

Licensed to practice in both Ohio and Pennsylvania, Ms. Starcher has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer and is recognized in Best Lawyers in America® in the area of medical malpractice defense.
