Marshall Dennehey Expands Pittsburgh Health Care Department

Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin has expanded its Pittsburgh Health Care Department with the addition of  new shareholder, Kristin L. Pieseski.

Ms. Pieseski focuses her practice on the defense of medical and dental malpractice matters. Throughout her career, she has represented the interests of physicians, hospitals, nurses, home health agencies and other health care providers in professional liability litigation, licensure matters and staff privileges disputes in Western and Central Pennsylvania.

A frequent speaker on dental and medical malpractice litigation, she has presented at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine Annual Medical Malpractice Seminar since 2001. Additionally, she has consulted for and lectured to dental and medical specialists regarding informed consent and risk management issues. She has also participated in educational seminars for paralegals focused on trial preparation and expert witness selections.

Among her numerous professional memberships, she is an active member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, the Defense Research Institute (DRI), the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) and the American, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Allegheny County Bar Associations.

Ms. Pieseski is a graduate of Duquesne University and the Duquesne University School of Law, and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
