Marshall Dennehey Announces New Director of Finance

Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin announced today that Frank S. Stransky, CPA, has joined the law firm as Director of Finance. Mr. Stransky replaces Ernest DiFilippo, the firm's previous longtime Director of Finance, who will retire in spring 2016. Until that time, Mr. DiFilippo will work closely with Mr. Stransky as he transitions into the position.

Mr. Stransky comes to Marshall Dennehey from Novak Druce Connolly Bove + Quigg, LLP, in Wilmington, Delaware, where he was Chief Financial Officer. A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Stransky is highly experienced in financial and operational management and tax planning, and he has strong technical knowledge specific to financial systems, data metrics, and computer systems technology. For seven years, Mr. Stransky also worked at Belfint, Lyons & Shuman, P.A., one of the largest certified public accountancy and consulting firms in Delaware.

Thomas A. Brophy, Marshall Dennehey's President & CEO, said that Mr. Stransky's strong technical background will provide benefits in an age when the firm's clients are increasingly evaluating and selecting law firms based on performance metrics.  "While we are sad to see Ernie go, we wish him much happiness in his retirement, and we are confident that Frank will integrate nicely into our management structure and culture."

Mr. Stransky is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Delaware Society of CPAs and the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs. He is also a member of the Association of Legal Administrators. Mr. Stransky is a graduate of Lynchburg College where he received a B.S. in Accounting.
