Dana Gittleman Selected a 2019 Board Observer for the Support Center for Child Advocates

Dana A. Gittleman, associate in the Philadelphia office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman and Goggin, has been selected to serve as the 2019 Board Observer for the Support Center for Child Advocates (SCCA) as part of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation's Board Observer program.

The Board Observer program is a partnership between the Philadelphia Bar Foundation and the Philadelphia Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division. Designed to provide young lawyers with the opportunity to develop leadership skills, learn about nonprofit governance and make connections in the nonprofit community, the program pairs attorneys with a Philadelphia nonprofit organization for a one-year time period.

In her placement with the SCCA, Ms. Gittleman will attend board meetings, fundraisers and observe other events and activities of the organization.  The SCCA's mission is to advocate for victims of child abuse and neglect with the goal of securing safety, justice, well-being and a permanent nurturing environment for every child.

As a member of Marshall Dennehey's Professional Liability Department, Ms. Gittleman focuses her practice on the defense of claims and lawsuits brought against insurance agents and brokers, real estate professionals, financial entities, construction companies, large product manufacturers, lenders and other professionals. She is a former member of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division Executive Committee. A graduate of Emory University, she earned her juris doctor from Villanova University School of Law.
