Candace Embry Elected Board Secretary of Philadelphia VIP

Candace D. Embry, associate in the Philadelphia office of  Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Philadelphia VIP, where she will serve as Board Secretary. Philadelphia VIP is a nonprofit organization that recruits, trains and supports volunteer lawyers who provide critical legal assistance to low-income Philadelphians.

At Marshall Dennehey, Ms. Embry is a member of the Professional Liability Department, where she focuses her practice on advising and representing employers in a variety of matters including alleged employment discrimination and retaliation, unemployment, and wage payment and collection issues. She also represents and defends public entities, including schools and municipalities, police officers, public officials, and administrators in civil rights and municipal liability claims.

Ms. Embry graduated with honors from Temple University and received a full merit scholarship to Widener University School of Law, where she earned her J.D. She is a member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations.
