Alan Carroll (A.C.) Nash Selected a 2014 "Rising Star" by Florida's Daily Business Review

Alan Carroll (A.C.) Nash, associate with the Fort Lauderdale office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, was recently selected as a 2014 Rising Star in the South Florida legal community by the Daily Business Review. Attorneys recognized as Rising Stars have established a record of accomplishments and demonstrated that they are top contributors to the practice of law and their communities. Out of the 40 winners, Mr. Nash was one of only seven law firm associates to be selected.

A member of Marshall Dennehey's Casualty Department, Mr. Nash focuses his practice on the defense of claims made and suits brought against insureds and businesses in product, automobile, commercial, construction and premises liability matters. He also is experienced in public sector and municipality matters and has represented municipalities and law enforcement agencies in federal and state civil rights cases involving false arrest, malicious prosecution and excessive force. 

Actively involved in the legal community, Mr. Nash was selected to the inaugural class of The Florida Bar Leadership Academy and currently sits on the Florida Bar Student Education/Admissions to The Bar Committee. Additionally, he is a member of DRI and the Broward County Risk Management Society.

Mr. Nash earned his juris doctor from the Florida State University College of Law in 2007. A South Florida native, he is also a 2003 graduate of the University of Florida, where he received a bachelor’s degree in public relations. He is admitted to practice law in Florida as well as all federal courts in Florida, including the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
