The PA Chamber of Business and Industry is hosting its annual Workers' Compensation Summit on Friday, September 30. This year's topics include understanding the litigation process, avoiding benefits mistakes, and tips to combat fraud.

Niki T. Ingram, Director of the Workers' Compensation Department, and shareholder Anthony P. Natale are presenting "PA’s Workers’ Compensation Law: Best Practices for Complying with Benefits, Understanding the Flow of a Workers’ Compensation Claim, and Tips to Prevent WC Fraud." They will discuss:

  • The top mistakes businesses make and the solutions – forms, claims, benefits and more.
  • How a typical workers' compensation claim is filed – the deadlines and paperwork, and where most companies make errors.
  • Workers' compensation fraud – the warning signs that your employee has faked an injury and is committing fraud.
  • What an employer should do if they suspect fraud.
  • Best practices for companies to follow in complying with the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Law.
