NAMIC Webinar Series on Medical Provider Fraud

Jeffrey Rapattoni, co-chair of the Fraud/Special Investigation Practice Group in the Cherry Hill office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, has partnered with the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) to present a 3-part webinar series on medical provider fraud in October. Designed for property/casualty insurance carriers, the webinars will address strategies for dealing with medical fraud in the PIP and UM/BI environments and explore solutions to the growing fraud problem. 

The webinars will take place at 2:00 p.m., Eastern Time, as follows.

October 6:   Medical Provider Fraud in Uninsured Motorist/ Bodily Injury Claims
October 13: Provider Fraud Investigation in Personal Injury Protection Claims
October 27: Contemporary Solutions to Provider and Claimant Medical Fraud

Mr. Rapattoni concentrates his practice on insurance fraud, bad faith and SIU-related matters. He has 14 years of experience defending insurers and is a board member of the National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators. He has received awards of appreciation from the National Insurance Crime Bureau and the New Jersey Special Investigators Association.

He is a member of the New Jersey State, Burlington and Camden County Bar Associations, as well as the South Jersey Claims Association and the New Jersey Insurance Defense Committee. He is a graduate of Villanova University and Rutgers University School of Law, Camden.
