SIU Data Analytics: Sword and Shield for Florida Law
Complex technology and analytics tools can significantly enhance organizational capabilities and effectiveness, especially in the investigation of staged accident fraud. With the relative newness of analytics being implemented in the SIU industry, there are critical adoption and change management considerations that need to be reviewed before this technology can be properly analyzed within an organization. Jeff, John and insurance consultant, Jim Hulett will explore these considerations and many options for integrating technology and analytics at critical touch points within and across the operational pillars of a SIU organization (Knowledge Management, Strategy, Processes, Function, Structure and Metrics). Their presentation will explore how technology can enhance investigative focus and litigation strategy for complex auto accident fraud rings, and the possible ramifications of operating under Florida's bad faith architecture and Unfair Insurance Trade Practices laws.
