Their presentation will provide an overview of the law requiring medical providers to employ Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and will explore how the changes have affected plaintiff's discovery requests including metadata, audit trails, information from smart devices and tablets, and physical access to the electronic records system itself. Topics will also include the importance of ensuring accuracy and completeness when EMR discovery is produced.
