December 1, 2009

Bucks County is one of the five counties in Pennsylvania that make up the Delaware Valley and is one of the three original counties founded by William Penn in 1682. The county seat, Doylestown, has its origin in 1745 when William Doyle obtained a license to build a tavern on what is now the northwest corner of Main and State Streets. The firm's office is located in this landmark building in the center of Doylestown. Besides being the county seat, Doylestown has established itself as a popular tourist destination and is home to the world famous Mercer Museum and James A. Michener Art Museum.

The firm opened the Doylestown office in 1981. The office is managed by shareholder, R. Anthony Michetti, who has been with the firm since 1978. Tony Michetti handles a wide variety of cases, including premises liability, auto, professional liability and municipal tort claims. Tony is also the co-chair of the firm's Liquor Liability Practice Group.

J. Bruce McKissock leads the firm's Aviation Practice Group. Joan is privileged to represent Doylestown Hospital and Grand View Hospital, two of the major medical care facilities in Bucks County.
