Scheduling Clerk - Orlando, FL

The law offices of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, a large defense litigation firm, is seeking to hire a Full-time Scheduling Clerk for the firm's Orlando, FL office.

Job Description – Scheduling Clerk:

  • Scheduling depositions, IMEs, hearings, site inspections, and various other appointments. This would include, but may not be limited to, clearing dates with opposing counsel, courts, doctors, experts and all other entities as may be necessary. 
  • Preparing correspondence
  • Confirming depositions with counsel/doctors
  • Reserving conference rooms
  • Obtaining directions
  • Filing documents
  • Scanning and copying
  • Any additional duties as required relating to scheduling
  • Reports to Office Manager in the Orlando office

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school graduate (some college is preferable)
  • Must have 1 to 3 years experience scheduling depositions, hearings, etc.
  • Spelling must be accurate in order to file documents properly.  Applicants must pass standard alphabetical and numerical filing tests.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • Must have positive attitude and demeanor
  • Excellent phone etiquette a must
  • Must be able to work on a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook 7
