eDiscovery Technology Sr. Analyst - 2+ Yrs Experience - Philadelphia, PA

The law offices of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, a large defense litigation firm, is seeking to hire a Full-time eDiscovery Technology Sr. Analyst for the firm's Philadelphia, PA office.

    This job is in compliance with Philadelphia's Fair Chance Hiring Law.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting attorneys, paralegals and support staff with eDiscovery and trial presentation software
  • Sound understanding and implementation of EDRM processes and procedures
  • Operating litigation technology systems such as Summation Pro, DropBox, Trial Pad and TrialDirector
  • Willing to learn new software applications such as Relativity, CasePoint, Everlaw, Disco, Logikul, and/or Sanction
  • Managing download and/or receipt, ingestion and processing tasks related to ESI and scanned paper received by clients, experts, opposing counsel or 3rd party sources
  • Formatting and executing search terms/filters
  • Generating productions, preparing databases for review teams, including configuring review settings, document folders, issue tags, and tagging rules as needed
  • Ensuring quality control of deliverables to verify accessibility, proper record counts, delimiters and fields
  • Supporting concurrent projects
  • Training end-users on how to access and review documents
  • Creating and distributing user accounts, resetting passwords and answering end-user inquiries regarding the basic functionality of the review and trial presentation platforms
  • Assisting and guiding attorneys and paralegals when they encounter technical obstacles
  • Communicating status updates and feedback to Director of Legal Resources and other team members
  • Handling special projects as needed

 

Experience/Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a technology related field from a four-year college or university and a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant litigation support or another technical analyst experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of law firm or vendor experience
  • Proficiency in legacy review platforms (Concordance, Summation Pro, iPro, TrialDirector 6x), Microsoft Office productions
  • Experience using legal document management systems (such as FileSite) preferred
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills, and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Focused on providing excellent litigation support service
  • Flexible to work late nights & weekends on occasion
  • May assist with testing, training and other administrative duties
