Zachary T. Ottoson

Zac serves as the firm’s Attorney Recruiting Manager. In this role, Zac works directly with the Executive Committee, Hiring Chair, and Managing Shareholders to source, interview, and hire attorneys in all practice groups throughout the firm’s 19 offices. As such, Zac is the firm’s main point of contact for attorneys interested in learning more about the firm.

Zac began his career with Marshall Dennehey in 2014 as an associate in the firm’s Casualty Group. Prior to re-joining the firm, he worked for over five years as an attorney recruiter with one of the world’s leading legal talent agencies. As an agency-side attorney recruiter, Zac successfully placed dozens of attorneys of all practice areas and experience levels into top Am Law-ranked firms, boutiques, and corporations throughout the country. He therefore maintains deep market knowledge and brings that experience to bear in Marshall Dennehey’s hiring process. 

As an associate at the firm, Zac’s practice spanned everything from insurance fraud to insurance coverage disputes, PIP and SIU investigations and litigation, and general liability defense. Zac worked in the firm’s South Jersey and Philadelphia offices. 

After graduating from Rutgers Law School in 2013, Zac completed a Judicial Clerkship with the Hon. M. Patricia Richmond, J.S.C., of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Part, Burlington Vicinage.  Zac earned a BA in Political Science from Virginia Tech in 2010.
